Lead Developer
Title: Lead Developer
Report to: VP of Product Engineering
Location: Downtown San Jose
Responsibilities:
This role is key in fididel's engineering organization and will report to the VP of Product Engineering. Tasks and responsibilities are:
- Lead design and development of key platform components from ground up and to full-scale implementation.
- Work closely together with product management, UI design, QA and operations to ensure quality and delivery of features and components.
- Mentor and coach other engineering team members
- Contribute to over all architectural direction of the fididel platform and products
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong OO development and design skills
- 5+ year web development experience
- 3+ years PHP experience
- 3+ experience of other server side OO development languages
- Experienced working on PHP frameworks (Zend etc)
- Understanding scalability of LAMP implementations
- Experience developing and evolving large-scale, 24/7/365 consumer services
- Understanding of agile and pragmatic engineering processes
Developer
Title: Developer
Report to: VP of Product Engineering
Location: Downtown San Jose
Responsibilities:
This role is part of fididel's platform engineering team and responsibilities will be:
- Full lifecycle involvement of product feature implementation
- Technical design and spec of product functionality
- Practically coding, testing and deploying product functionality
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong OO development and design skills
- Web development experience
- PHP knowledge and experience
- Database design and implementation
- Understanding of agile and pragmatic engineering processes
